Industrial Oleochemical Products (IOP) is primarily a manufacturer of fatty acids, with the capacity to produce fatty acids from tall oil sources as well as from a broad spectrum of vegetable-based crops. Oleochemicals are chemicals derived largely from seasonally renewable agricultural resources. In utilising by-products from edible oil, pulp, paper and biodiesel manufacturers, IOP plays an important role in the use of these resources by conversion into valuable oleochemicals. This unique capability allows for unequaled flexibility in the type of products which can be formulated to match specific individual requirements, including being used in well-known brands of household paints, detergents, vehicle tyres, lubricants and adhesives.
